This year our best advice for faster tax return processing without encountering delays is as easy as our tips below.

#1 – Verify your information is accurate. Check the accuracy of everything you enter on that tax return, not just once but two or three times before you hit that submit button (or mail it if doing a paper tax return, which we do not recommend.)

#2 – e-File your tax return. File your tax return electronically. There are lots of options that allow you to be able to fil this way. Some are even free. If you’ve been hesitant until now to make that leap from filing a paper return, now is the time to make that move.

#3 – Request Direct Deposit. Get your refund faster by telling IRS to direct deposit it into a bank account. You can even have them use Direct deposit to directly deposit your money in up to three different accounts if you want. Using this option ends mailing delays, eliminates sending checks to an incorrect address and saves everyone, you and the government, time and money!
